About Wild Rose Care Home
Wild Rose Care Home is a 6-bed Santa Rosa assisted living facility, otherwise known as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). The assisted living facility is over 3,000 square feet and provides each resident with their own private bedroom room and attached half-bathroom. Our assisted living facility has a professionally landscaped sensory garden that includes roses and aromatic lavender. Several bird and hummingbird feeders are stocked in our garden to attract birds for our residents’ enjoyment. At the entrance of Wild Rose Care Home our pergola provides shade for residents so they may enjoy the sights and sounds of our sensory garden. Inside our assisted living facility you will notice our flat-screen television and Nintendo Wii available to all residents. Once inside the bedrooms, you will notice the large private rooms and spacious bathrooms. Down the hall, you can see our main shower room which provides ample space and a luxurious environment for showering residents with limited mobility. The staff at Wild Rose Care Home receive annual training in dementia and Alzheimer care to ensure that professional and personal care is delivered to all residents. Mary Garcia, R.N. serves as the administrator of the assisted living facility and is involved in the care of every resident. Mary Garcia can be reached at (707) 695-2937 or by email at wildrosecarehome@gmail.com
Our Philosophy
Wild Rose Care Home believes that assisted living facilities should provide personal care, not scheduled care; that’s why our Santa Rosa assisted living facility employs staff trained in dementia and Alzheimer care and maintains a high staff to resident ratio. At our senior living facility we take care of your loved one the way you would yourself; with care, patience, and attention to their needs. Mary Garcia, R.N. visits each facility and regularly interacts with each resident to ensure that Wild Rose Care Home continues to meet each resident’s personal care needs. Our small Santa Rosa assisted living facility ensures that your loved one will not become over-stimulated as they would in a larger Santa Rosa assisted living facility, exacerbating the adverse symptoms of dementia such as hallucination or unusual behavior.
Dementia and Alzheimer Care
Many seniors encounter memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease as they grow older. At Wild Rose Care Home we understand the challenges of dementia care. Often the symptoms of dementia exceed the level of care that a family member can provide. Our 24-hour assisted living staff will ensure that your loved one suffering from dementia receives around-the-clock personal care. Mary Garcia, R.N. personally conducts the initial assessment of each resident at our assisted living facility and remains involved in their care. At Wild Rose Care Home we know that you trust us to provide excellent care for your loved one with dementia and that’s why we train all of our caregiver’s in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Call us at (707) 695-2937 or email us at wildrosecarehome@gmail.com to learn more about our dementia care philosophy or to schedule a tour of our assisted living facility.
